Samantha is the Founder Chairman, Managing Director and the Chief Consultant of PASSAsia with HR Asia, SME Asia and Cloud Accounting Asia solutions. He is the Managing Director of Art Sense Advertising (Pvt) Ltd and Academy of Visual Arts too.
Samantha is the Chairman and Managing Director of ECO TREATS TOURISM (PVT) LTD. It was here that he began his WordPress journey, and discovered its immense potential.
Over last 20 years, he has served in Sri Lanka, and many other countries with research, consultancy and training jobs covering government organizations, banks, private sector, and international agencies such as JICA, UNDP, and ILO etc.
Samantha has the membership of number of national and international professional associations. He is the only Sri Lankan who has won both the Winner of The Outstanding Young Person of Sri Lanka and the Winner of United States – Sri Lanka Fulbright Scholarship. Samantha is a PhD Research Fellow and Candidate and completed MBA-Management of Technology, PG Diploma in Economic Development, PG Diploma in Strategic and Corporate Finance, Graduate Certificate in Environment Conservation, Dip in Mass Communication, B.Sc. Agriculture Special Hons majored in Agric. Economics. Among his competency is to integrate ICT in to business process and system development.
Samantha has developed more than 50 websites and integrated number of customized applications to suit small and medium business to run effectively. Samantha loves WordPress and sees a very big future for WordPress to make a significant contribution to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
